Who's Drilling Near My Minerals?

Free North Dakota activity lookup — pick your county (and Township/Range/Section if you know it) to see recent drilling permits, confidential wells, and operators active near your mineral interest, pulled from live NDIC daily reports.

Find activity near your minerals

County is required. Township/Range/Section is optional but sharpens the results to your specific location.
Township and Range must both be entered to sort by proximity — Section alone is ignored. Don't know your legal description? Leave these blank and we'll show the most recent activity for the whole county instead.
How this works: Data comes from NDIC's daily permit reports and the North Dakota well index, the same source oilgasorgrass.com uses for its Daily Permits dashboard. When you enter a Township and Range, we sort results by numeric distance in the PLSS grid (how many townships/ranges away a well is) — this is a coarse approximation, not a precise GPS distance, and does not account for direction. Section-level detail only refines the sort when the well shares your exact Township/Range. This tool does not know property lines, lease boundaries, or who holds your specific minerals — it surfaces public regulatory activity so you know where to look further.
